Mitzpe Ramon Floating PV Project
Ener-t FPV Completed 5MW Floating Solar Project in Israel
Ener-t International completed Mitzpe Ramon Municipality 5MW Floating Solar Project after won a tender to design, finance, build, operate and maintain of large-scale floating PV
The Mitzpe Ramon Municipality has announced that
Ener-t International, has won a tender to build a large-scale floating PV project. With the implementation of this prestigious project, Israel would have a world-class large-scale floating PV to lead its effort to maximize their solar PV potential and therefore rely on clean, renewable energy sources. Floating PV solves the twin challenges of land constraints and clean energy generation.
Ener-t FPV Mitzpe Ramon project will continue to generate clean electricity, helping Israel reach its goal of generating 30 percent of the country’s electricity from renewable energy sources by 2030. In addition, the floating PV power station can effectively reduce water loss due to evaporation and protect Israel’s precious water resources.
